In this collaborative exhibition, artists Jo Pawlowska and Sasa Lubinska transform Midpunkt in Kópavogur into a quirky after-party environment—a space suspended between celebration and total collapse.
Multiple video works loop endlessly across scattered screens, surrounded by leftover food, flickering reflections, and a single sad disco light shimmering in the corner. A small room in the space is turned into a darkroom, where a 3D-rendered video with hybrid bodies, plays alongside a distorted version of the “Happy Birthday” song.
Equipped with cameras, 3D programs and glitter, artists annex DIY aesthetics, clichés and narrations present in the culture of the Internet. In the playful process of exploring the intersection of art and low-budget technology, artists integrate their own bodies and personal experiences into their project.
